The Pilates Center a Core Training Facility Description of Classes
Mat (floor work) - the essence of all Pilates work, a series of floor work exercises designed to create uniform development; long, lean muscles; core strength and breath control. Limited to 4 participants.
Basic/Fundamentals -The class to begin building your foundation for a successful understanding of your body and the Pilates method provides a gentle exploration of correct movement skills with particular emphasis on synthesizing breath control, abdominal support, and pelvic/spinal alignment. Beginning/Intermediate - now, it's time to learn new exercises as you grow more adept at performing the flowing Pilates movements with increased breath capacity, mental control, and your strengthening core, or "Powerhouse". Intermediate - students experienced with the beginning Pilates exercises challenge themselves with more complicated skills, and more dynamic, flowing movements, all at a faster tempo.
Intermediate/Advanced - for students experienced and strong in their Pilates, who are now honing pelvic and shoulder stability, oppositional energy, spinal articulation and overall uniform development. Tower/Mat Session – A class designed to incorporate mat work with tower training to aid the body in gaining better alignment and flexibility. Limited to 4 participants
Private session (system training) - the most effective way to focus on your individual unique needs, injuries or chronic concerns. Use as an initial evaluation as well as periodic tune-ups or opportunities to further your personal fitness goals.
Semi-Private Session (duet/system training) - an opportunity to explore and "own" your individual Pilates program while receiving technical input from a shared instructor.

Polices Payment & Cancellation Policy: • Sessions by appointment • Sessions are 60 minutes in length from the scheduled time. • All sessions must be prepaid and are valid for time stated above. • All sessions are non-refundable • You will not be charged if cancellations are made 24 hours prior to your appointment.
